Bonus Assignment #1

So here are 3 "relatively" quick layouts. I just added the picture and the journaling and name and date.

I say relatively because it took me forever to decide on a picture. Hence the 3 similar layouts. This would be the other reason I am not a big fan of the "1 picture" layout thing.
Enjoy!!!!

Digital Scrapbooking

So i am trying to learn more about Photoshop and how to use it and am taking a very basic class for digital scrapbooking to learn. Here is my first project. Enjoy! :)

I will just add that I am not a big proponent of any layouts with only one picture, but again, very basic digital scrapbooking class - first lesson.

Brigette

This is one of my dear friends!

Brigette is 80+ years old, has a wonderful sense of humor, is a crafter, and a most generous person.

A mutual friend is creating a history of some of Brigette's stories and wanted a recent picture to add to the book.

These are a couple of my favorite shots.

Mr. "T"

I had a fun time taking some pictures for a friend of ours this last weekend.

We want to wish Mr. "T" all the best as he leaves for a 2 year mission in Chile.

He has a great personality, and fun sense of humor. Hopefully, he likes some of these pictures as well. The following are some of my favorites.

Playing around in Photoshop

Better Late than never.......

So I took these pictures of my friend and her cute kids last December. I have been learning more and more tricks in Photoshop so I decided to try them out on these pictures.

I will post the originals and the edited versions so you can see the difference.

They turned out pretty well if I do say so myself.

I like to take pictures in my master bedroom because it has great lighting. On this day however, it was really overcast and the pictures were not turning out the way I would have liked.

Here is the original.......

and after Photoshop.....

Another before.......

Here is the baby before.....

It is a few quick fixes when my "natural lighting" doesn't want to cooperate. It's not my favorite but it's good to know it can work "in a pinch".
